Edward Francis Burke (1957- 2024)
Edward Francis Burke, 66, passed away on April 8, 2024. A devoted Catholic and proud Marine, cherished uncle, brother, and friend. Edward was celebrated for his good humor, and generosity. His legacy of kindness and compassion are exemplified by his impassioned conversations, commitment to service and the love for his St. Bernard Show dogs.
Born in Garfield Heights, Ohio, to John and Irene Burke, Edward dedicated his life to service, first in the Marine Corps and later through his work at the post office and various volunteer efforts.
He is lovingly remembered by his parents, John and Irene; brother, Jim; sisters, Marian (Thomas Young), Kathy (Jeff Gosciniak), and Christine (Larry Burgess); and his adored nieces and nephews, Katy ,Matthew, and Anthony Guinta, Daniel Young, Elizabeth, Marianne, and Joan Gosciniak, Nicole, Dorothy and Carol Burgess.
Edward's life was a beacon of generosity, kindness, and love. While we mourn his loss, we also celebrate the immense joy and positive impact he brought to our lives. His legacy will forever inspire us.

Visitation: Vito Nero Funeral Home, 6130 Turney Road, Garfield Heights, Ohio. Thursday, April 11th, 4-7 PM.
Catholic Burial and Mass: Holy Name Church, 8328 Broadway Ave, Cleveland, Ohio. Friday, April 12th, 10 AM.
Burial: Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at 12:45 PM, promptly.
