Helen "Jane" Fisch

Helen “Jane” Fisch, AKA Helen Stoll-Fisch age 99, of Beachwood OH, was born June 2, 1926, passed away February 7, 2026. She was the beloved wife of Herbert A. Fisch (deceased) for 57 years.

She was reared (she always reminded us you raise cattle, but rear children) on a farm near Cincinnati, OH by her parents Gertrude (Saik) and John Stoll. She graduated from Ohio State University in 1948 with a degree in Home Economics and later completed a master’s degree. 

Helen is survived by her three children: Sara Coll, Judith Laston and Michael, six grandchildren: Melissa, Stephen, Marie, David, Robert and Andrew and two great grandchildren Wrenn and Mary Lynn.

Her family and holiday meals were a great source of enjoyment for all. She and Herb traveled extensively after they retired, and they enjoyed playing Bridge throughout their married life.  Her roses and flowers were a source of great joy, but also frustration as deer enjoyed them.

Barbara A. Maloney

Barbara Ann Maloney (nee Sasala) passed away at home on February 7, 2026. Beloved wife of Thomas for 66 years. Dearest mother of Tim (Cathy), Patty, Mary (deceased), Kathleen, Tom (Lisa), Mark (Angela), Matthew (Bernadette), Clare Costello (Tim), Kevin (deceased), Greg (Katie), Terry (Justine), Peggy Sievers (Corey). Lovingly remembered by Julie Maloney. Cherished grandmother of 16 and 1 great-grandson. Dear sister of Joseph (Judy). Preceded in death by her parents Andrew and Anna Sasala and her sisters Joan (Blakely) and Kay Gouslin (Bill). She was loved by many nieces and nephews and friends. John F. Burke


John Francis Burke, a longtime resident of Garfield Hts. Ohio, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2026 at the age of 94. He was born on June 22, 1931 to the late Anthony Burke and Viola (nee Koehnle). Preceded in death his brother Tony Burke and sister Marie Carey. Beloved husband of Irene L. Burke(nee Gulyban), sharing 69 years of marriage. Father of Edward (deceased), Marian (Tom Young), Kathleen (Jeff Gosciniak), Jim and Christine (Larry Burgess). Grandfather of 11 and Great grandfather of 2. After graduating from Holy Name High school and John Carroll University, John served in the Army. Upon receiving his honorable discharge, he obtained his Master of Education from Western Reserve University and was a long-time assistant principal at John Marshall and other Cleveland High Schools. He earned his Doctor of Education at Kent State University. After retirement he was the principal of Our Lady of Angels. With his love and talent in music, John directed the St Therese Choir and the Eastside Irish American Club Choir. Margie White

Margie L. White, age 84, passed away peacefully on Sunday February 1st at Fairview Hospital. Dear wife of 62 years to Harry White. Daughter of the late Bert and Mary Coss. Retired teacher from St. Patrick’s Catholic School-West Park. Margie was a member of The Fairview Park Historical Society and a member of The Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR). With her husband Margie, traveled throughout the 50 states and into Canada and Mexico and also Europe. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting and donated many of her items to local nursing homes. She will be deeply missed by Harry and all of her friends. PRIVATE SERVICES WILL BE HELD.

Orazio Masucci

Orazio Masucci, age 71, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Orazio leaves behind his beloved wife of 47 years, Sheree (nee Corrao), his children Rosaria (Joseph) Witnik, Giovanni Antonio, and Giuseppi Masucci, as well as his cherished grandchildren, Callie and Evan Witnik. He also leaves behind his niece, Dawn Bobbs, and his siblings Gina, Francesca, Concetta, and Andrea, who all reside in Sicily. Orazio was also a dear uncle and cousin to many in Ohio and Sicily. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Tanina, and his sister-in-law Rosanne Bobbs (nee Corrao).

 Born in Alcamo, Sicily, on June 1, 1954, Orazio made a courageous move to the United States in 1978. He had a deep love for his family and enjoyed spending time with them, especially playing with his grandchildren. He had a knack for fixing and tinkering with electronics and lawn equipment, and he loved going to garage sales, playing music loudly, and getting free coffee from the local Marc’s.

 “Mr. Orazio” was a dedicated custodian and maintenance man at Messiah Lutheran in Fairview Park for over 15 years, where he was known for his hard work, kind soul and love for doughnuts. His memory will live on in his family and in the many lives he touched over the years.

Kim Belcon

Kim (Koran) Belcon, age 74, passed away peacefully on December 23, 2025 at her home in Rocky River, Ohio.

Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Kim will always be remembered for her generous heart and her devotion to family, most especially her three daughters and granddaughter. She taught them how to face life’s challenges with grace, courage, resilience and a determination to always celebrate life’s milestones. Her passion for dance and musical theater inspired treasured memories for her daughters and lives on in the artistry of her granddaughter. As Brooke’s Nana, Kim cherished every opportunity to see her dance and delighted in each performance.

Kim’s dedication to family was forged in her early years, spending summers with her sisters and parents at Chippewa Lake Park, and enjoying ballroom dancing in the old Grand Ballroom.

Kim was preceded in death by her parents, Patricia (Slezak) Koran and Leroy Koran.

She is survived by her three daughters, Morgan Belcon, Shaye Belcon (Danielle Fries), and Alexa Belcon; her caregiver and their father, John Belcon; her beloved granddaughter, Brooke Wren; her two sisters, Shelley Hartong (Philip Hartong) and Drue Koran Murman (Michael Murman), and four nieces.

Calling hours will be held on January 3, 2026, from 3:00–6:00 p.m. at Donlon Funeral Home, located at 15408 Triskett Road, Cleveland, Ohio 44111.

Eleanore K. Kraemer (Lasenyik) “Butchie” of Elyria, Ohio, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2025 at the age of 80. She was the beloved wife to the late Leonard J. Kraemer, Jr. for 40 years. Loving mother of Stacey (Charles) Sponsler and Shannon (Bill) MacKay. Grandmother of Timothy and Ian (deceased) Gnandt, Patrick Sponsler, Sarah (Erik) Erdman, Stacey (Marcel) Outridge, Samantha Sponsler, Jordan and Shawn MacKay. Linda graduated from Canfield High School and went on to attend Wittenberg University before earning her Master’s in Social Work from The Ohio State University. This began her lifelong professional calling of caring for and helping others. Her most passionate work was her devoted service to pediatric burn survivors through Aluminum Cans for Burned Children (ACBC), a mission she supported wholeheartedly for nearly 35 years.

Linda’s love, kindness, and compassion touched everyone blessed to know her, and her legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were impacted by her presence.

Miriam A. “Midge” Prybis



Miriam S. “Midge” Prybis, beloved wife of Robert A. Prybis. Devoted mother of Dawn Matava (Kenneth), Dana Calvitti (James-deceased), Debra Mason (Gary), Diane Harper (Robert), and Eric Prybis (Ricky). Dear sister of Bob Susz, Gretchen Warth, Mark Susz, Rachel Machuga, Mary Susz and Karl Susz. Devoted grandmother of Nicole Calvitti, Anthony Calvitti (Jayne), Kathryn Buczak (Douglas), Amanda Harper, Jessica Baldwin (Nicholas), Daniel Mason and Zachary Mason (Laura). Midge was born in Mansfield, Ohio on July 29, 1941. She the oldest of 7 children. The family then made their home in Fairview Park, Ohio.

Midge was in the first graduating class of Magnificat High School, but left to join The Sister’s of Charity at Mt. Augustine in Richfield. After a short time, she rethought her path and returned to Magnificat and graduated in the second class with her lifelong friend, Micki Ollie.

After Graduation she met Bob and they were married in October 1961. This marriage produced five children-Dawn, Dana, Debbie, Diane and Eric.

After all the children were in school, she decided to pursue her ambition of becoming a nurse and graduated from MB Johnson School of Nursing in 1979.

She worked various jobs until she retired. She especially loved being a hospice nurse.

Her devotion to her religion was very important to her.

Midge would go out of her way to help anyone. She loved her family fiercely. She was sassy but sweet.

She especially enjoyed spending time with her family. All the grandkids brought her much happiness.

Oscar W. Billy Ward Jr.

Oscar W. “Billy” Ward Jr., 67, passed away unexpectedly on December 5, 2025. Billy was born on December 12, 1957, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Oscar W. Ward Sr. and Eva L. Ward.

Billy was the beloved husband of Diane E. Ward and the devoted father of Megan Ward (Justin), Brittany Leeson (Jonathan Sr.), Ronald Busch, Patricia Hudson, Evelyn Ramos (Anibal), and Dawn Busch. He was a cherished grandfather to Logan, Austin, Dakotah, Jonathan Jr., Evelyn (Nathaniel), Chasity (Antonio), Tyler, Stefani, Clo’e, Leila, Kendell, Brandon, Joshua, Antonio, Eric, Kevin, and Ivan, and a proud great-grandfather to many.

He was the loving brother of Dreama Woodby (Kenneth) and was preceded in death by his brother Robert D. Ward. Oscar was a caring uncle to Steve Woodby, Robin Woodby (David), and Scott Woodby (Brenda), and a great-uncle to many.

Billy will be remembered with love by all who knew him. He had a remarkable ability to make friends wherever he went, and throughout his life he built and treasured many lasting friendships. His circle of friends near and far was large, loyal, and deeply meaningful to him. He valued every bond, every laugh shared, and every moment spent together.

He also had a lifelong passion for classic cars admiring them, talking about them, and enjoying the craftsmanship and nostalgia they carried. His love for vintage automobiles was a joyful part of who he was and something he loved sharing with others.

Billy was also known for his unforgettable habit of never wearing a shirt even in the cold, something that became a trademark of his laid-back spirit and larger-than-life personality.

Lynn A. Gallagher



Lynn Gallagher (nee Klein) 83, of Cleveland OH, passed away suddenly with her son and daughter-in-law by her side, December 4, 2025. 

Lynn was born June 28th, 1942 in Cleveland, OH. She attended Saint Stephen's High School on the west side of Cleveland. After spending the 1st part of her adult life as a professional stay at home mother, Lynn practiced the art of floral arranging for 30 years. She was an accomplished florist and an awesome devoted mother who made everyone around her feel loved.                                                                                    

Lynn was the devoted wife of 62 years, Michael T. Gallagher, loving mother and grandmother of children Michael (Rachel), Jennifer, John (Wendy), Daniel, Timothy (Kristin), grandchildren Haley, Rose, Michael, Emily, Moira, Mackenzie, Rory, and Carter. She is also survived by her sister Dolores Marx (Leonard-deceased), brother-in-laws John (Kathy), Francis-deceased (Kay), Thomas (Judy), sister-in-law Mary Catherine Keane (James-deceased), many nieces, many nephews, many close loving friends, and her dog Gizmo. Lynn is predeceased by her parents John Klein and Ann (nee Miklovic) Klein, brother-in-laws Leonard Marx, James Keane, and Francis Gallagher.

Visitation will be Monday, December 8, 2025 at Donlon Funeral Home, 15408 Triskett Rd. in Cleveland from 3PM - 6PM.  Funeral mass will be on Tuesday, December 9th, 2025 at 10:00am at Saint Stephen's Church, 1930 W 54th St in Cleveland.  Internment will be private.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Rescue Inn, a canine animal rescue dear to Lynn's heart.

LeVern "Lee" Clapp

LeVern “Lee” Clapp, age 80, passed away peacefully at home with in-home-hospice care on Monday, December 1, 2025, after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease and COPD.

Lee was born on February 14, 1945 in Ransonville, NY near Niagara Falls. He is survived by his wife of 32yrs. Susanna (nee Riscatti), his sister Cecelia Brewer, his children, Kevin (Jessica), Timothy (Kathy), and Melissa. His grandchildren Valerie, Keegan, Kevin, Magy and Noah.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 8, 2025 at Pleasant Hills UMC in Middleburg Hts. at 4PM with visitation, followed by church services at 4:30PM, and a gathering after the service in the fellowship hall with refreshments.

Burial will be Tuesday December 9, 2025 at 12noon at Holy Cross Cemetery on Brookpark Rd, mainly for immediate family but all others are welcome though not obliged.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, a charity dear to Lee’s heart.

Robert A Kubovcik

Robert Albert Kubovcik, 89, of North Olmsted, passed away quietly with his wife by his side, November 25, 2025. Bob was born November 17, 1936 in Beaverdale, PA, and graduated from Beaverdale High School in 1954. He enlisted in the US Air Force and served in Fairbanks, Alaska and South Carolina before leaving the service and beginning his studies at Fenn College. He met his future wife, Carol (nee Long), on the bus to school when his college textbook fell on Carol; he was smitten. They soon married and started their family, having four children together and settling in Lakewood to raise their children. He worked mostly in banking, adopting a number of hobbies along the way that kept him busy. He loved photography and spent a lot of time taking pictures of people and nature. He built a dark room and developed his own black and white photos, often experimenting with various filters and techniques in his dark room. Bob also loved fly fishing and would take time in small lakes and rivers to unwind with the calm waters and fish. As he got older, Bob picked up wood carving and was quite good at it. As he got less mobile, Bob began counted cross stitch, creating beautiful and intricate cross stich pieces. Throughout his life, Bob was a voracious reader, often tearing through a novel or the biography of some historical figure in a few days. He always had a few books waiting to be read nearby.

Bob also enjoyed travel with his wife Carol. They made a point of traveling to wherever their children or grandchildren were living (e.g., Oregon, South Carolina, Germany, New York), and taking trips on their own. He particularly loved the Great Smokey Mountains and Appalachia. One trip that was truly memorable was an Honor Flight he took a few years ago, where he was treated like a hero.

Bob is survived by his wife of 66 years, Carol, children Cheryl Ludwa (Patrick), Sean (Wendy), and Kathy Hewston (Alan), grandchildren Bridget O’Hanlon (Cory), Christopher Kubovcik, Megan Ludwa (Rachel), Kyle Kubovcik (Tori), Samantha Hewston, and Timothy Hewston, and four great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Betty Lou Najda (nee Kubovcik) and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Bob’s son Kevin predeceased him.

Bob was faithful to his family and his faith.

Memorial Service Saturday December 6, 2025 at Messiah Lutheran. Church 21495 Lorian Rd. Fairview Park. Friends and family gathering at 10:00am, service at 11:00am, luncheon follows. Harold D. Sullivan, age 74, son of the late William and Lillie Sullivan. Brother of Nina, Kathy, Billy and the late Ralph, Bobby and Aloria (Tiger). Husband of the late Patricia Sullivan and Lori Sullivan. Dad of Charlotte, Dwayne and Amanda. Grandpa of 2. Great-grandpa of 1. Great uncle to many nieces and nephews. Companion of Linda. David C. Jordan

David C. Jordan, beloved husband, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on the evening of Saturday, October 18, 2025, surrounded by loved ones at Fairview Hospital. He was 67.

David was the devoted husband of the late Patricia Jordan (née Meade), and the cherished son of Ann Jordan (née Votg) and Charles Jordan.

He was a loving brother to the late Ann Christen Smith (née Welles) (Walley), Kathy Sullivan (née Welles) (the late Jack), Donald Welles, the late Donna Welles, Denise Welles, Robert Welles (Anna Maria), James Jordan (Elaina), and Jacquelyn Jordan.

David was a proud and loving uncle to Cindy, Sandy, the late Sherri, John, Joe, Sharene, Shawna, Sarah, Robert, Rosario, Spencer, Sydney, Jake, Jaime, and many more nieces and nephews who held a special place in his heart. He loved them as his own.

A proud patriot, David served honorably in the United States Army. After his military service, he continued his dedication to hard work as a skilled diesel mechanic with BFI and later with the City of Parma.

David was a passionate fan of The Beatles, Pink Floyd, and the Cleveland Browns. He was a gifted artist and painter, a true connoisseur of rock 'n' roll, and someone who embraced life fully. He enjoyed swimming, traveling, boating, fishing, cooking, and had a deep appreciation for skyscrapers and aviation.

Above all, David will be remembered for the love he shared with his family and the joy he found in being surrounded by those he cared for most.

Linda M. Prudhoe

 Linda M. Prudhoe, a longtime member of Christ United Methodist Church,
 passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 12, 2025 in Medina.  Linda was
 born on February 6, 1949 in Cleveland, Ohio.  Linda is the daughter of
 the late Michael and Virginia McKelvey.  Linda is survived by her
 daughter Lisa Rish (Dr. Michael) of Avon Lake.  Her grandchildren
 Nathan, Noah, Lauren and Colin and her beloved sister Karen Rahl
 (John) of Humble, Texas along with her nephews Kevin and Brian (Kylie)
 and young great-nieces Tessa Joy and Lilly Ann.

 Linda was a 1966 graduate of John Marshall High School and attended Bowling
 Green State University.  With a strong work ethic and vibrant personality,
 Linda became a working woman in the corporate world!  She benefited
 from building a fruitful thirty five year career at Sherwin Williams Company.

Personal success aside, her greatest treasures were family, friends
and faith.  Immeasurable joy burst forth in the garden of her heart
 when each of her grandchildren were born! Opportunities for special
 moments with each of them was of utmost importance and nourished her
 soul.  She spoke of them with such admiration - marveling at how each
 continued to blossom in new, exciting ways.

 Through the peaks and valleys, Linda cherished her friends.  Among
 those she held most dear were "The Godesses" - Cheryl, DeeDee, Joy and
 Lisa who has supported and celebrated each other shoulder to shoulder
 and will continue to hold fast to their bond so deeply rooted in love
 for one another.  Kind neighbors, Bernice and Pat were heaven-sent
 as they were cheerleaders to bolster Linda's spirits, a helping hand
 at a moment's notice or a peaceful presence in the wee small hours of
  the morning.

 An unwavering faith was Linda's stronghold while enduring her short
 illness.  She faced each day with hope, trusting she would soon be
 welcomed with open arms to her eternal home.  As she persevered through
 pain, she felt shaded in comfort by engaging in extended conversations
 with her cousins and nephews, while also reminiscing with her sister,
 Karen.  Linda embraced the gift of knowing her time was short and made
 it a point to connect with those around her, encouraging them, showing
 gratitude for the difference they made in her life and appreciation
 for who they are in this world!

 It was Linda's wish to be remembered with a smile on her face and a
 song in her heart.  May the music made and shared together connect our
 hearts always, until we're all joined together again in the heavenly
 choir of angels.
