Beyond her work life, Mary was an active member of St. John Lutheran Church in Garfield Hts., Ohio and was part of the Altar Guide, Hospital Visitation Team, and LWML.  She attended many Lutheran Women’s Missionary League conferences across Ohio and across the United States.  Besides her family, friends and involvement in church bringing her joy she also greatly enjoyed Cedar Point and the Cleveland Indians.  One of the last trips she took before she passed was to Cedar Point with her grandson Joe this past May. Although has hadn’t been to an Indians game for a while, she followed every game on TV, whether they were in a winning or losing streak.
