Helen Unger (nee Krumreig), 97, went to join her spouse of 67yrs. on Thursday October 1st. Beloved wife of the late Maynard "Doc". Loving mother of Clark Unger, Mary Arnold and Barbara Lengen. Proud grandmother of Heidi Arnold, Eric(Jodi) Arnold and Heather(Bryan) Near. Great-grandmother of Emma, Evan and Isabelle. Dear sister of Richard(Mary Jane) Krumreig and Mary Lou Bark. Aunt and great-aunt of many. Helen was a leader of the Campfire Girls and The Explorer Scouts. She was a child care provider and director at Lakewood Christian Church. She also sang in church choirs. She was active in the PTA at McKinley Elementary, and was part of the "Help Me Grow" program, along with her husband in Lakewood Schools. She also became part of the American-Ex POW program. She was an avid gardener and loved cake decorating. She will be missed. Her family will receive friends at DONLON FUNERAL HOME 15408 TRISKETT RD. CLEVE., ON FRIDAY & SATURDAY 6-8PM.
