Loving brother of Paul (Nancy) Barker, Perry (Pam) Barker, and Pamela Barker. Loving brother-in-law of Tom (Karol) Mann, Richard (Pat) Mann, Jim (Mary) Mann and Richard (Pat) Hvizd. Proud grandfather of 5; Kile, McKenna, Caimen, Silas and Brooklyn. Fun uncle of Carrie (Dave) Del Regno, Michael and Dan Mann, Cindie (Tim) Hackman, David (Marnie) Mann, Jeremy (Natia) Mann, and Heather (Bill) Blessing. Fun great uncle of 8. Friend of many. PHIL WILL BE MISSED.
Phil was more than a great musician, he was an artist for the people. He was a devoted husband and dedicated worker. He realized that it simply felt good and fulfilling to help others: from raising money for various charities to rescuing drivers stuck in the snow, and even as simple as giving a homeless man literally the coat off his back. Though he did leave this world, don’t grieve for him, be him. Use your talents to help others and fight as long as you can. “Even a warhorse needs to rest.” Phil Barker, 2020
auf Wiedersehen, with love, Joey.
The God of all grace who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. 1Peter 5:10.
